What is peter aerts?

Peter Aerts is a retired Dutch kickboxer and mixed martial artist, who is known as "The Dutch Lumberjack" due to his tall stature and powerful strikes. He was born on October 25, 1970 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Aerts had a successful kickboxing career, competing in organizations such as K-1 and It's Showtime. He is a three-time K-1 World Grand Prix champion, having won the prestigious tournament in 1994, 1995, and 1998. Aerts also holds notable victories over top fighters such as Ernesto Hoost, Remy Bonjasky, and Semmy Schilt.

In addition to kickboxing, Aerts also had a brief stint in mixed martial arts, competing in Pride Fighting Championships and rings. He holds a professional MMA record of 1 win and 3 losses.

Aerts retired from professional fighting in 2013, and currently works as a trainer and coach in the combat sports industry. He is considered one of the greatest kickboxers of all time, known for his powerful striking, technical skill, and longevity in the sport.
